Distracted by presents

It was a madhouse.  But the kids were shockingly well behaved and thankful for all of their gifts!

More to come after another round on Saturday!

Christmas Eve

Santa brought new beds! They were put together in their rooms while we were at Church and Mimi and Papa's.  O&O were shocked when we got home and were very excited to sleep in them on Christmas Eve.

My Mom got the kids dressed for Church and got this great picture!

Christmas Season 2013

Our neighborhood had a great Christmas party, complete with "sleigh" rides and Santa.  This was as close at Owen and Olivia got to Santa.  Owen did eventually whisper from about 10 feet away that he would like cars and trucks.

Checking out their annual ornaments from Mimi.  Olivia got 2 ballerinas.  Owen a Thomas Train and a bulldozer.

Thanksgiving 2013

I am so thankful for my entertaining, silly, loud, and hilarious little ones.  The holidays are so bright with them around!  Well, at least until we've been at thanksgiving all afternoon and they have complete and total meltdowns.

We spent Thanksgiving day at my parents.  I got one picture.

But we had a great time!  And KU basketball on Thanksgiving day - I could get used to that!

We came home (after previously mentioned meltdowns), and put up the tree.  Olivia put up all of the ornaments - and made adorable comments like "Oh wow, Mom, look how beautiful this one is!".  Owen went for his favorite - the train!

We spent the weekend in McPherson, and this time my camera was busier.  How cute are these cousins?  Poor Mickey, I'm pretty sure Owen and Olivia just tell him what to do and he listens.  At one point I believe Olivia put him in timeout.

The holidays are off to an amazing start.  More to come about our neighborhood holiday party that was tonight!
