Now Open

Just wanted to pass along the fact that this blog is now open for
anyone to view, hopefully that will make it easier for those of you
having some issues logging in.

Some other things of note:
Baby girls is apparently feeling a little constricted already. A few
nights ago Lindsay called me over to feel her belly. There was
certainly a sittuation going on. A leg, arm, or possibly an entire
head was pressed firmly against Lindsay's belly. This was the first
time I am certain I have felt the presence of life in there. Sure, I'd
felt some flutters of activity before, but this was a whole different
ball game. Baby girl was making the whole bump lopsided. It was pretty
cool.

I'm hearing a lot of ads for KU football season tickets. Am I crazy
for thinking about purchasing a family pack? I'd like some advice
about taking 3-6 month olds to a football game. Please comment below.

On the name front, I think we're very close to making a final
decision. We'll let you know a soon as it is official, mostly so you
other preggos out their don't go stealing our names.

Nursery!

The nursery actually looks like a nursery! Thanks to Justin's sister Erica and her fiance Luke, lots of progress was made this weekend! It's been painted, the 2nd crib is now put together, and the dresser/changing table made it up from the garage. Considering I am exhausted, and I didn't do much, I can't imagine how they are feeling this evening.

We had another doctors appointment this week (and have them about every 2-3 weeks now). The babies are growing and have strong heartbeats. I have been feeling "popcorn" occasionally in my belly, but not much. But this morning when I woke up, Baby Girl was having a party! Justin said it felt like she was doing Tae-Bo! Baby Girl is on my left, and Baby Boy on my right, so it is fairly easy to tell them apart. Not to mention, I feel like I am getting huge! According to the doctor, my weight gain since my last appointment was perfect.

So we are making some progress in the nurseratorium. We've got some samples up on the wall, getting ready for next weekend's paint-a-thon. We are also zeroing in on some names for baby a and b, but you'll have to check back later for those because we are not quite ready for a wide release just yet.
