In the spirit of encouraging more coloring, we went to Target this evening for some Crayola Color Wonder supplies. Owen immediately chose the Cars themed coloring book. I was curious to see what Olivia would choose, since she learned the word Princess this week. She went back and forth but ended up with Cars as well.
Coloring did last a little longer than normal, but that's mostly because Owen likes taking the caps off of the markers and then requesting help to put them back on.
Coloring was soon replaced with a game of tag, which ended with Owen locking himself in Olivia's room. It took me a few minutes to find the correct screwdriver, but I had him out pretty quickly after that. He wasn't traumatized even a little bit.
