Well, I am sure I had a day or two early on where I was a pretty unhappy pregnant person, Sunday was the first day in quite some time that I was just plain cranky. I started my morning waking up too early. I grabbed my water from the nightstand to take a drink and drift back to sleep, and proceeded to dump the entire glass all over me and the bed. Needless to say, I was awake. I got changed and went downstairs to sit and watch Justin work on the ribs he was making for lunch and then he made me breakfast. I laid on the couch for awhile and watched Justin clean. It was as if I was completely incapable of doing anything. Justin even unloaded the clean silverware from the dishwasher - which he hates! As the evening rolled around, it was probably good that we had the week off from family dinner, because I mostly sat around and complained about how uncomfortable I was. Around 8:30, I finally asked Justin to help me get to bed, as there was no way I was getting out of my skinny jeans by myself! Plus, the bed needed some cleanup due to my morning spill. I imagine Justin went back downstairs and breathed a sigh of relief that I was finally in bed! That is, until I woke him up about 5 times last night trying to get comfortable! Thank goodness I have Justin! He let me be cranky, was supportive, and he still had a productive day!
I woke up this morning tired from a rough night, but determined to make this a better day than yesterday. So far, so good. But I am hoping for a very early bedtime!
There have been requests for more blog posts, so here ya go!
Tuesday Morning Update: I had a relaxing evening and plenty of sleep last night. Feeling much better!

Game night
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I know we did. Although it was very busy, at least for a preggo and her husband.
Friday Lindsay wasn't feeling well. She blames lack of meat due to Catholicism. I agreed. But by Saturday morning she was doing well again.
Saturday we watched the KU game only to be disappointed. I guess you can't win 'em all. At least we had wholesome fun to look forward to.
Nick and Catherine invited us over for dinner and games. We brought a salad aimed at imitating Houlihan's. I think we came close. Nick made up a pot of vegetarian chili. And the Maysent's brought brought brownie sundaes. Quite the sweet feast.
After dinner we broke out Trivial Pursuit, which we dominated until 10pm and the twins decided it was time to go. Quite frankly I'm surprised they lasted that long. Lindsay's usual bed time is shortly after eating dinner.

Sunday I got the urge to clean. This only happens about once a month, so when it comes you've got to grab hold of it and see where it goes. It went from the kitchen to the living room right out the door into the garage. I think we can now fit both cars in with enough room along the sides to lug around two car seats. Over the last week or so I'd been testing out car seat arrangements in the Jeep, and barely squeezing through the garage. So at least that's out of the way.
We also made it out to buy letters for the nursery. I hope to get those put up this week. I'll definitely post a pic when that's finished.
Looking back at what I've just written, it seems like this might come across as a very boring weekend. It might have been. But I'm guessing it's one of the few easy weekends we have left. The pregnancy seems to be moving so quickly. Lindsay's bladder might disagree.
On a side note, I threw together a last minute ski trip. I'm heading out to Breckenridge on Thursday. I figured I'd get in one last spurt of Justin time. So if you're in KC, I'm sure Lindsay would love some company this weekend. And on the plus side, you don't even have to put up with me possibly tagging along.
Have a great week.

Catherine and Lindsay mocking my bump pictures. And no, neither are sporting a real baby bump.

Doctor appt #1243235
We went to the doctor yesterday, for the millionth time. Everything is continuing to go well. Our suspicions that the belly is growing dramatically were confirmed. It now measures 34 centimeters up from 27 two weeks ago. This would explain the constant itching Lindsay is dealing with. The doctor almost alarmed us when Lindsay mentioned the itching. I guess if you're itchy all over, this is a bad thing, but just the belly is normal, because it's growing so fast. (So if you notice Lindsay itching elsewhere, then we've got a problem.) We've now moved into the realm of appointments every week. There are so many to schedule, the receptionist didn't even have time to schedule them all while we waited. We gave her our preferred times, and she was going to work on it through the day. I believe there were about 20 she had to schedule.
Really no other surprises at the latest appointment. We are still finding places for all the great gifts from the shower. Thanks again for all the great gifts. We're glad we have so many great people in our lives.

Shower Pictures
Justin posted a great video, but I have added some pictures below! We did have an amazing shower on Saturday with some great family and friends. Owen and Olivia are very thankful for all of their gifts!
Yes, that's right, the babies names are going to be Owen and Olivia! Middle names are still to come, but we are excited to go ahead and tell everyone their first names!
I am now 26 weeks and starting to get a little more uncomfortable. By the end of the day, my bed is my best friend! I feel like I spend most of my weekends there too! We do try and get a lot done on the weekends, and this weekend we organized the nursery, put together a stroller, and bought the car seats (thanks to gift cards)! It felt great to get the car seats - now the babies will be able to come home from the hospital!
